Who are we?
Goldsmith David Frew began repairing jewellery and appraising diamonds in 1977. Star-Set Jewellers first opened in Eganville in 1981. His son, Michael, joined the business in 1998 and they moved their store to Pembroke in 2006.
Their business philosophy is a straight forward one:
We expect our employees to serve each customer they way they would like to be served, in terms of knowledge and courtesy, and most importantly, in an honest manner.
Jewellery repairs are done on site at the jewellery store. David Frew has excellent business relationships with wholesale jewellery companies in Toronto and frequently travels there for repair supplies and gem stones.
We started out with the philosophy of providing honest, trustworthy, quality work and we have never strayed from that.
In the community
Star-Set Jewellers believes in giving back to their community. They reguarly donate to important charitable causes in the Ottawa Valley.
Their most recent donated was to Hospice Renfrew.
